I love the large room and the glass dome options. I HIGHLY identify with Fred.īigger rooms. I hope it sticks around for the next game. The sea truck takes the best of both vehicles and crams them into one while keeping the options and customizations in the hand of the player. It was a giant unwieldy piece of shit with huge blind spots, no maneuverability, a paper thin hull, and for a giant floating fortress had a surprising lack of storage. I should also mention I absolutely hated the cyclopes. It's speed kind of sucks but that's fine since the map is way smaller it's proportionally faster. Being able to pootpoot around in my little speedy submarine gocart was great and this has similar vibes. Why do I need to auto collect 20 peepers? By the time you get it you should already have a spicy salad farm up and running which solves all food and heat concerns. I love this thing! There's lots of stupid little attachments that are completely pointless and also completely optional. I'm making this post so others can either agree with me or tell me I'm dumb and just playing the game wrong. I'm only part way through the game but have lost interest in completing it. Getting to the endgame I realized it would have been better if Below Zero was just a DLC and integrate the new base building parts and improvement to the first Subnautica.Spoilers for the original game and subzero. But the best part about it is the new base building parts and the game improvements including the fully voiced storyline. Second is the map size I'm not sure about how big Below Zero map is but it feels like its very small no wonder they removed the Cyclops. In the first Subnautica exploring deeper becomes scarier and in order to finish the game we have to go deeper, we have to overcome those fear and that's one of the best thing about the game which sadly I cant feel with Below Zero, there is no real threat except the leviathans deep below. And I cant stop comparing the original Subnautica to Below Zero, Subnautica Below Zero lacks something that only the original had and one of those is in the exploration part.

But I was already invested so I continued the game, build my base. I got the game from some time now but I haven't played it yet until the Seaworthy update came I thought it'll be complete with the ending and all but sadly no ending yet.
